A shared system for 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig
The starting point: administration across separate tools
Before moving to campai, 1. FC Lok Leipzig used SPG Verein. Staff communicated by email, mail, and phone, without a shared messaging system.
The club also lacked online forms. Staff created and maintained applications manually, which took time and left room for mistakes. Managing dues was particularly difficult: they checked amounts and changes against account statements by hand.
The team wanted membership records, dues, and communication in one system, along with digital member IDs and an online application process.
Choosing campai
In conversations with campai, the club outlined the administrative tasks it needed to connect. Staff wanted to see the relevant information together and complete tasks without maintaining the same records in several places.
The team chose campai for its membership features, integrated communication, and flexible dues management. It could also set up different payment arrangements and payer relationships.
Staff particularly valued the interface and the connections between modules. Changes to member information, dues, or payment details carry through to the relevant records, reducing duplicate work.
Online applications, communication, and digital member IDs
With FORMS, the club introduced online forms using its own branding. New members can apply directly through the club’s website.
After a member joins, the system creates a digital member ID that can be saved on a smartphone without an additional app. Staff can use the cloud workspace from a computer, tablet, or phone.
What changed for the club
The move gave 1. FC Lok Leipzig a connected way to manage its membership work. Staff can follow payments and dues changes more easily and spend less time working through paper records.
Online forms, digital member IDs, and shared communication tools support the club’s volunteers and staff as they handle daily administration.
