Building an independent system
As our membership grew, we needed to establish our own infrastructure after separating from 1. FC Köln’s systems. We chose campai to support that move and our ongoing work with members.
Heike Bellinghausen describes the collaboration: “Together with campai, we succeeded in building an independent and effective system for our fan project. campai works through planned processes rather than rushed changes, helping us improve our member communication and make it more transparent.”
The move allowed us to bring several platforms together and make the system easier to use. It supported our internal organization and communication with approximately 16,500 members.
From accounting to event planning, staff could work with connected information and respond more directly to members’ needs.
Continuing the work
For Fan-Projekt 1. FC Köln 1991 e.V., the collaboration is about maintaining useful systems through periods of change. We want to keep improving the connection between our organization and the fan community.
That work involves learning as we go, reviewing what members need, and improving the tools we use. We look forward to continuing it with campai.
The organization is based in Cologne, Germany, and supports the fans of 1. FC Köln.
